Pain or Swelling
Contact the dental office promptly if you have tooth pain, a damaged tooth or swelling. The team can advise you about the urgency of an examination and whether additional care is needed. Do not rely on old walk-in times; confirm arrangements before traveling.
Difficulty breathing or swallowing, or rapidly increasing swelling, requires emergency assessment.
Dental Care During Pregnancy
Tell your dentist if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. The dental team can discuss preventive care, treatment needs and coordination with your pregnancy care provider.
Coverage and Costs
Ask whether the treating provider participates in your dental plan, what the plan covers and whether authorization is required. Coverage can differ by procedure and age. Request an estimate and ask about payment options before treatment.
